I completed my PhD in the Department of Epidemiology of Microbial Diseases at Yale in spring 2026. My work sits at the intersection of pathogen genomics, bioinformatics, and mathematical modeling of infectious diseases — using sequence data alongside transmission models to inform intervention strategies for enteric and respiratory diseases, including vaccine evaluation for rotavirus, SARS-CoV-2, and RSV. Before my doctorate I earned an MPH in public health modeling at Yale and studied the respiratory and gastrointestinal microbiome with the Antibacterial Resistance Leadership Group. At the StatLab I wrote the guide on logit and probit models, and most enjoyed helping with regression and mixed-effects modeling, Bayesian and time-series approaches, and getting genomic and clinical data into shape for analysis.
